well been looking for my old photo album, all throughout the house and then the last place is the loft, so up I go, taking a lead light with me, pokes my hand up through the loft hatch with the light and is scared Sh*t less, we have bats in the loft, so beautiful to see them flying, so after a moment I shut the loft hatch and will call someone in the morning about what to do about them 
hopes i hav'ent done too much damage

spoke to the bat bloke on the phone this morning and I'm to leave them alone till he can turn up on wenesday afternoon as the bats are protected dead chuffed , Ive got bat in my belfry, all i need now is to hide the mother in law up there

Saw a bat myself recently.
Rather heartening since the bats have been suffering a catastrophic die-off due to a fungal plague.
Could be their population is beginning to recover.
Locally, they've got competition, the nighthawk.

I've often seen the nighthawks come to chase the bats away where they see large numbers of bats congregating, in order to avail themselves of the insects both prey on.

well its been found and the bats are doing what bats too and they are being cleaned by the bat bloke once a month

What sort of bats do you have and how will they be looked after, if you don't mind me being so nosey
we get bats in the garden at certain times of the year, end of May through to July ish, always at the same sort of time, they seem to have some sort of routine. Thy were late last year didn't see them til around the Solstice, me and the neighbour that I often meet on the front doorstep also watching bats worried about them

Common pipistrelle, apparently and we have only 6, also they take care of themselves as were not allowed to interfere with them! there protected so only the bat bloke can go and visit and pick up their droppings

thank you, I was interested in the cleaning, as I was wishing for bats in my loft and someone had bats in their loft which they were chuffed about but they were messy and I don't think they got a Batman that cleaned
so I sorted out my loft just in case like
