How wonderful to find another afficionada!!.
As a little girl, visiting my grandparents in the south of France I remember watching a veritable river of cyclists, pedalling for their lives across the valley where my gramd parents home was.
Years later when I rented a home in the Haute Savoie, at La Clusaz; so that my family could come and visit me instead of me careering around the countryside, the Tour de France was once again raced during my stay and so I was fortunate enough to see it "in action" a second time, so to speak.
There seems to be an Englishman Cavendish who is doing very well. I must admit I do not know any of the others, but I hope, that by the end of the month I shall have a favourite whom I hope can win.
Nice meeting you over such a happy occasion. They really do seem to be a very happy bunch of competitors,
