What you need, sir, is a tin of brown Hammerite™. Go for the weatherbeaten and steadfast look. The other advantage is that like my brown Hammerite™ bike, no-one will think a brown Hammerite™d guitar worth stealing.

If you've got one of those little portable things, rip out the innards and repackage the whole thing in wood rather than plastic with a slightly bigger and better speaker and a small power amp. Raid the maplin catalogue for kit or ideas. My nameless portable 9v amp thing sounds almost resonable now, especially with the option of fixing it my homemade wooden flight case for extra resonance.

Or some of that stuff that does exactlt what it says on the tin.
Actually you could have a great Spinal Tap setup with a wall of mighty MS2s

Talking of trains (Crazy or otherwise) The Travelling Wilburys were on a train in the video for "End of the line" the video also featured a photo of Roy Orbison as he'd died shortly before.
Spinal Tap and MS2's eh?
Nigel Tufnel, despite not being a real person has no less than two dsignature guitars. The first one was I think a Musicman . It was yellow with hot rod flames on and contained a single 8 coil pickup!?!?!?!?!
t also had a meter on it so he could see how many notes per second he was playing.
His second signature guitar made by Jackson, was in the shape of a Marshall Half-Stack. if he wanted even more performance, he had a second square cabinet he could attach and have a full stack guitar!!
It was originally suggested that the half stack actually contained 4 MS2's but Nigel though that was too much, even for him.
Im so good at useless trivia aren't I?
