?! No. Bird eating cats. Birds rule. And Lochangel should be proud of her care for her mouse. Lochangel - have you got a mouse licence yet?

Speaking of Ben - has he figured out his hi-tech water-dispensery type thing yet?

I have got my mouse license and it is all in order - of course it is just for the single mouse - don't want to go to overboard.
Ben is fine - really blooming. Doesn't appear to do anything other then eat at the moment! But I have discovered that he loves milk which is quite good for growing mice so he gets a couple of drops every now and again which he drinks off my finger. The taming progresses apace too and he now spends a happy hour or so in my hands per night. I have decided not to let him explore me and my clothes proper before I have worked out how I can stop him escaping so any thoughts on that would be good!

cant you just make sure the room is sealed? he'll come back to his cage for food eventually.
My hamster used too, after eating my clothes.
and frizzy, I have no idea what you mean by 5cm jeans, but If I tell pippin (my cat)
she'll go hunt some for me, she's hate to be outdone

What colour is Ben? Black, white, grey or something else?

I think he was Champagne colour.

Well, they were a pair of jeans (made out of some sort of denim type fabric) but they were only 5cm tall. Really really tiny jeans.
My flat is next door to a toy shop, so I guess some poor (tiny) doll is missing some trousers. (Unless the cat got him/her first and was too ashamed of his murderous actions, so only brought the jeans back for me.)

I was going to make a very bad joke about the licence being dearer but have decided not to as I think I'll regret it in years to come.
How's Ben enjoying his new ladders?

Lochangel mentioned she'd got him some ladders. I understand he's painting the gutters.

Oh - a mouse with a head for heights - actually, we have a couple of loose corner roof tiles that are letting the rain in (those darned squirrels again) - maybe you could bring him up to have a look at them, Lochie?
