 been thinking laterally. every-time i switch on my lamp and it gets warmed up it takes on shapes that look like my present life situation. for example, the first day it was like arms reaching out for me, then the next day they were encircling me and now it looks like i've broken loose and am flying. maybe my mind is in overdrive

I think you never should have bought that lamp.
It´s controlling you. First you think that everything you do and think is reflected in the lamp, next thing you know you think what´s in the lamp is what you should do. The lamp looks like a hotdog? There goes your diet. The lamp a bit more shiny than usual? You leave home the makeup.

Hmm, from your description, I think your suffering from MATHMOS LAVA LAMP DEFEICIENTCY, or M.L.L.D for short. I wouldn't mind betting that your experiancing your mind altering hallucinations because your lamp is not an original "Mathmos" lava lamp.
It's all do do will cheap oil and wax don't you know!

You may wonder how I have become so knowledgable on the subject? Well, I have been lucky enough to work in the factory in Poole, and talk technical stuff with the production manager. I also managed to half- hinch a RED/VIOLET APPOLLO lamp during a quiet lunch time.

For best results, a dark room, a legal mind altering drug (optional), and a bloody good stare directly into the molten wax should get results.

the lamp was a present and although i understand what you say, actually you could be right, next thing i'll start be behave like it.

had a bit of a session tonight and i think that i have clarified some things.

the friends that are always going to be there are going to fall back to being the same good friends after ten minutes, it's the aqaintences that you cant talk to. my life may be more straight forward than i think.
