Hi Baldrick!
Yes, thanks... I had an email from another researcher about it and as you can see, have hopefully diffused the situation. I think that everyone gets a little carried away with their own creations/angles and dig themselves into a hole. I just hope that it can continue on and not cause offence! I enjoy scenarios and political debate along with the rest of you, but I seem to have some *standing* on h2g2... purely through being responsible for the Post I hasten to add, and I know that Peta trusts me to keep an eye on things and report anything too over-the-top 
Anyway... do keep having fun, and thanx again for the warning
