With great enjoyment I have been following the debate on Libraries. In Wimbledon talk I would say you, Peter and Ron are in for a grand slam! It looks like a five setter too. I also have spotted quite a few idiotic entries since I started visiting the site and have wondered why they had not been scrubbed. Maybe there is going to be a new broom in November?
Perhaps the more unbelievable stories e.g. 'ordered to kill my family' are kept to inspire fiction writers? You and Peter were very 'gentle' with your observations in answer to that particular submission! Do these people, like the one who singlehanded manned the ack-ack gun, really think they would be believed? I know people have false memories, but you have to be really gullible if you believe that this has happened to yourself and made this a memory of your own to treasure!! If these examples are false memories I would eat my hat (unfortunately I do not possess one).
Come on boys, a few more good hits in the far corner and hopefuly the umpire will be impartial and fair.
Make it a game, set and match!

Rob, i just read your input:I say:AMEN : totally agree with what you wrote.
I did not, discover this Associate Center publishing all these tales till last nite. And I was astounded that anybody could take these stories seriously .
Memories??? my foot.I have a better word:drivel!
The Hess story, the clothes of Montgomery that had to be washed at home and then returned??
The guy who singlehandedly shot down a Jerry?
And Peter calmly explaining what is involved in setting up the required manpower for such an action!!!
Ron ,Tom and all the others who DID fight, got wounded were in concentration camps....THIS HAPPENED and was NOT anybody's imagination!
Frank I liked your input and the way you answered all the explaining:WHY, these people were allowed to write stories pertinently not true!!
And then talk about libel!
Is this is going to taught in school...??
