I dispair of womanhood, You, Carol, Marjorie and a couple more have noticed my knees but not the handsome phizog or the fertile brain. Am I to be forever just a hunk for the Ladies to use as they wish or will the time ever come when we can just sit and have elevated conversations by candle light.
Sorry about the home again mail, I have just realised what the heading looks as if it was saying but I assure you I was only slurring my words after an active association with the local Scotch. My brain is back on active again now.
Regards Frank.

Dear Frank

What can a man do, when his knees are clearly so irresistable? Make the most of it, surely?

Slurring was of course my first and only thought when I read you-know-what smiley - winkeye

dear Helen,
Indeed I did but when a female Camel starts to make eyes at them and wink her lustrous lashes at them, laying back and thinking of England is not enough. In time honoured fashion I did what the army always did, Ran like Hell. I left a few Ballrooms the same way.
Regards Frank.

Dear Helen,
You forgot the Goats and the odd Donkey.
Toy boys were not invented by you youngsters it was just as rife in my time. I look at some of those old films and smile remembering Sunday Afternoon Tea dances at the Nuffield Club in London.
The Ladies from the shows and Chorus girls would arrive looking for fresh boys and if you could really dance it was free teas all round and that is all I am saying.
If ever I put pen to paper look out Jilly Cooper I will wipe you of the book shelves.
Regards Frank.

Frank

I bet you were very fresh - did they know what a handful they were taking on?

I can't wait for the book - please get writing. Jilly would gladly step down, I do believe.

Best wishes,

Helen, WW2 Team

Dear Helen,
The word you are looking for is pliant.
Some of those Ladies are still around in their late eighties and ninety's so the book will have to wait.
Regards Frank.
