As anyone whose been reading my post column, or my last few journal enteries will know, ive been painting like a mad man in preparation for a competition thats coming up.
It was about 3:10am last night when i finished argueably the greatest model i have ever done. The sword has some shaky hand work on it (easily corrected) and having looked again the armour needs touching up for some reason. Also the gems need to be made deeper (about three days worth of inking, then thin coat of varnish, then ink again) but non of that will take to long really.
Its not a complex model really. A simple man pointing his gun, holding his sword next to him, and wearing some long flowing robes. I had bought it last year with the intention of entering it last year, but now im glad i waited this long to do it.
When i go back to college i'll badger my mate for her digi cam, or harass college staff for a decent digital camera. Apart from that ill be putting a basic picture up on the hunchbacks site in the next day or so.
Thanks for putting up with my little raving, but im quite impressed with my little self.
