In less then 24 hours i will have officially applied for the dole.
Im doing this mainly because by the time i get a job, ill more then likely have to quit and move to Preston. So its the unemployed life for me!
Its bizarre but im actually quite proud of claiming the dole. Like college, its something that my mums side of the family have never done (or even attempted).
Bizarrely ill be claiming 40 ish pounds a week - 10 more then my EMA.
So what else is new in the life of this wannabe doleite. Well a week saturday my mum disappears to italy for two weeks, meaning i can basically sit around, doss out, get drunk, and (dole permitting) go out. Two weeks after she returns i get my results, and about two weeks after that i take my hat and my bag and ride off into the sunset (aka get a cab to the train station) to sun ol' preston.
In a few short weeks i will be detatched from Manchester, leaving behind a friend who never answers her phone, a friend who ive known for over a decade and has been influential over the past few years, a friend whose a bride to be, a friend whose clinically insane, a friend who i see far to little of, a friend who no longer considers me one, and my dog
(i dont ive left anyone out.. apart from the mighty clint)
