Okay so yesterday two great things happened - my student loan came in, and I had my first games of warhammer in almost 3 years.
Both losses.
You see in the first game, using my two newest modes - a duel pistol wielding trenchcoat wearing rogue trader, and a riot armed trenchcoat wearing judge with his cyber dog - I had high hopes. Especially when afformentioned pistol wielding fella jumped off a ledge pistols first and fired at both my opponents arms.
He however, had assassins. And it all went wrong.
The target assassin, obvious annoyed at being shot at, dashed across the table and lopped off my fellas arm. Her partner then dived through a window spectacularly and lopped off the judges leg and arm.
The pistol wielding guy, realising that he was soon to die, pulled his pistol out, aimed it at the assassins head matrix style and she dropped like a fly.
The second game wasnt so... equal. The same pistol guy accompanied by two bodyguards were butchered by an inquisitor lord.. the whole thing took about an hour as he tore his way through three guys.
Pain. Unspeakable pain.
My response to this, as well as the issue that the only other players in our little campaign group have space marines, was to buy up every servitor in the shop - on my desk right now theres 8 servitors, two with heavy bolters, the others with very stabby instruments and there accompanied by dave the floating skull.
Now Dean (the guy with the inquisitor lord) will face off against the space marines whilst I GM. About half way through the game though I intend to add a nice surprise....
Mwahaha I'm evil. So evil.

After spending a good hour speaking to the paintng man, I decided to blow the bulk of my loan on several shopping trips and sending my sister to france for a few days :D
Which is why my dvd collection doesnt fit on my new shelves damnit I built those shelves with my own two hands (and a drill, and some brackets, and wood..). I blame Aliens... literally :D

My DVDs fill a storage tower, a draw in my bed which is really meant for sheets and stuff and a couple of plastic crates
