Why?
Its all going well, everyones likeing David Tennant, he's settling in after some initially rockiness. We deal with Rose and him seperating and we're like 'Awwwwww now that was perfect'
And then that.. gah I'm far too angry.
Okay, if another comes along as well (because the Doctor likes having a posse) then fair enough, I can deal with it, but Billie Piper bless her cotton socks carved herself a good spot there and it worked, and her leaving like that worked, but Catherine Tate.

Please say its just for the christmas one off. Please say that it'll all be sorted, and then she'll be dumped in favor of.. I dunno the guy off the CBBC/Byker Grove (man that was cool when they turned up, I so have to make some chrono-commandos now). Actually that could work... that could work really well...
But no, we'll get Catherine Tate, and I'll have to put up with her for episode after episode of a show I was just starting to really get into.
Pfft.
At least BBC showed some Star Trek today - amusing though how they made no excuse for the pilots shameless sexism, quoth the captain 'I still can't used to women on the bridge', and in reply 'I'll try to stay out of the way captain' *woman shys away*
Having said that, she is now the voice of every starfleet computer where as hes.. just no body.
And I would have watched The Next Generation episode except I hadnt slept in two days and thought I should try getting an hour so I dont collapse during Doctor Who.
Does anyone know if BBC 2 are going to keep showing Star Trek? Possibly a week night thing like in days gone by (If they did, I could save 100 quid!)

Tate is only in it for the xmas special, I have been led to believe. Rose's replacement is suposed to be the black girl who was in last week's episode and got the cyberimplant comunicator thingy stuck in her ear/brain. however I'm guessing she's not playing the same role.
