Hello Katherine,
After posting a storey under 'Animals in War,' I have been wondering if this
storey about 'Winkie' would have been more appropiate posted under the RAF research desk as it does seem to fit in after the effort of saving the lives of members of the crew that ditched in the sea off the Scottish coast. If the storey needs to be transferred to the RAF stories, perhaps
you will let me know the proceedure,or
can you effect the transfer from your end.
Best Wishes,
Freddy Dyke.

Dear Freddy,
Good to hear from you, and thank you for the story about Animals in wartime - this is a topic I know visitors to the site will find fascinating. It will be categorised in a new Animals in Wartime section - as well as to the RAF section, so there is no need to submit again.
Thanks again for your story - and for all your contributions to the site.
best wishes,
Katherine
