This isn't really the place for entries like this, unless you can re-write it to fit in with the writing guidelines. If you'd rather leave it as it is and still get feedback, you might like to think about moving it to the Alternative Writing Workshop, which is more appropriate for pieces such as this.

No sign of Ignis since 29th September. Pretty much Elvised, I think.

I like this. It's nicely written though not in EG style.

I'd say give it a spin in the AWW

Can I ask something? What's the point of putting things in the AWW if the author has elvised and can't work on them?

Because it flags up good writing to the UG miners (and the AGG/GAG/CAC whenever they come out of hibernation) who will take it on, give it a polish and put it on the Front Page

But can't the same be said for PR? Why do we take entries out of PR and but them in the flea market in that case?

The PR / FM route is for entries that in their inception are destined for the EG - which you must admit is a pretty narrow cross-section of possible writing. The AWW is for everything else, provided it's good enough.

Does that mean what's put in AWW stays there forever, well, until the UG snaps it up?

I think they do have periodic clean ups from time to time. Nothing obviously as savage as we do in PR, but then they have neither the throughput nor the specified writing criteria of PR which makes such a clear up necessary.

Back in the spring when the UG was launched, the miners went through and checked and posted to every entry in the AWW - an impressive and mammoth task if you ask me - to kick a bit of life into the forum. Since then things seem to be ticking along quite nicely.
