Oh dear.

It is that day that hooters of a certain age probably would prefer to avoid, or at least not advertise.

No. Not the day you received an ASBO, CCJ or an STD but a birthday.

And today is mine. It is interesting, or weird, or that I can now number 27 people who I've met with the same date of entering into this . I cannot recall names of most but a few are memorable.

So what happened? After rising, a very good friend and neighbour visited with a very pleasant card, and Mum had bought a I'd requested, at a very competitive price locally, that I'm looking forward to reading.

Dad also excelled. Another Natural History , and one I didn't know of, but knew the Author.

A hefty tome, and one I'm looking forward to reading, and maybe incorporating into Gandalftwin's entries.

It was, after a , time to head off to the Strand to meet the Doc. On the way I was stopped by an ex-work colleague who had been thinking of me. More .

He'd read an article on natural flouride in and it being a health hazard, particularly affecting joints. He'd remembered I drank copious quantities of caffeine and wanted to advise me, at length, of how this may have been the problem.

He may be right, but didn't pick the best moment, but I'll check it out.

Any insights would be useful.

Eventually reached the *$ opposite Charing Cross Station. Doc had, once again, beaten me by minutes.

It is true. Women should always come first!

It was now 17.00, and a and lasted 3.5 hours, along with pleasant intercourse, of a narrative nature I hasten to add, and a pleasant chat with my youngest Sister, who insisted on chatting to the Doc. She's quite taken with her. An ally, at least.

The Doc gave me a beautiful birthday card of a National Geographic baby Elephant with wonderful lyrics from Bonjela (Jon Bon Jovi) that were truly romantic, as well as the WPotY 2013 portfolio book, which we visited last month. I wax truly made up.

And the messages, cards etc have truly amazed me, as I haven't advertised my ongoing age, and I thank you all for your kind messages.

So a year older but, as a friend pointed out, a year younger than next year.

And tomorrow is a new day.
