And so it is Wednesday.
Today I am meant to visit the '
people'. This is not a disparaging comment. I have volunteered to help out at AgeUK, Brentford, the main centre in Hounslow. I thought I'd make a difference, but it is purely an activity centre that cannot provide advice, my main reason for volunteering. Not quite fitting my criteria, but I am 'Brilliant and a natural' so I'll stick it out for a while.
Anyway, circumstances prevented me from attending. Ongoing financial problems meant more letter writing and e-mails. The black 
is sniffing around. I am so pleased I have the Doc to keep me grounded.
After all the admin, managed a spot of ironing and the last washing load aired.
A bit of snap, and off to a Maintenance meeting for the Housing Co-Op which was reasonably productive, and finished early enough for me to Skype with the Doc. <smiley

Maybe you could take in washing and ironing to earn a bit on the side - you seem to be getting very proficient at that!

I don't even own an iron anymore, I left it in a bin at the school I worked for. If something needs ironing it either goes back where it came from or gets sprayed and put in the dryer. Life's far too short to iron.
