Day 3, and late rising again. My body is feeling the effects of our meanderings from yesterday.
It doesn't take kindly to long periods of standing.
As we were a fair distance, MMF distance relatively speaking, we decided to stay in the hotel until we needed to get to the station. The weather was still wet as well, so not ideal to be outside. Gave us a chance to continue our challenge.
And so, time to leave. The taxi ride was smooth. We'd have walked but went the walkway through a building site, so didn't seem cabin trolley and MMF friendly. Was just as well really, as another squall occurred halfway to the station.
When we had the assistance to the platform we found there was a bit of a flap on. It appears cleaners had climbed aboard a train that they bought was the Bristol-London Paddington train, except it was an empty train non-stopping to a London depot. And it left with them on board. There were frantic calls downline to stop the train to released the cleaners, along with much hilarity… 
Definitely destined to be the main topic of conversation for the next couple of days.
The train arrived and we were helped aboard before anyone else. Due to problems, the reservation tags had not been installed so made for an interesting journey. Really pleased we were the first on board and avoided the scrum.
The journey was smooth, but did wish we'd been in the quiet carriage as there was avery load woman opposite, who did not stop talking. Think she breathed through her skin, as she never stopped for a normal breath.
And back in London for 18.00. Doc had to get the tube, while I walked to get the 
which arrived fairly quickly.
Doc was home around 15 minutes before me, not unusual, although we have around the same distance to travel, as she lives close to Kingston, so the right side of London.
After unpacking and a 
I nuked a pre-prepared 10 bean casserole I'd made before the weekend, and then time to Skype the Doc.
