No going back!
Last Friday I was on the 
and decide to dive straight in and just do it. Dialled the number and...
Nothing!
Tried one of the '118' numbers and again... Nothing.
a young lady sitting by my side just happened to have the number I needed so I managed to conclude my business.
I now have a venue for my 'BIG' 
Party in November. I have the hall from 18:00 until 02:00, as long as we behave ourselves... I hope you are paying attention, 2legs!!! 
And it is 10 minutes from my flat, and 15 minutes from three main hotels!
The band gets booked next week, and I just need to source a DJ for 23:00 onwards. Phew.
But I've done something even more

camera!!! A Canon EOS450D...

Serious Stuff! Well, it is for me. Now for a nice 
day, a list of entries needing photos, and a traipse around London, trying it out.
I hope my photography skills are good enough. Nothing to hide behind now.

As far as the camera is concerned, the lens is good, especially when I get the close-up lenses for macro... very good for Kew Gardens and photographing the Triffids.
my Dad has a couple of zoom lenses that he's said he'd be pleased to pass on to me, as he doesn't need them... so a definite win-win... Just an

I should be able to make it if it's in November, i will have just about recovered from the expense of a holiday and my health should be good aswell. 
I am toying with the idea of a better camera next year. I would like one that does almost microscopic close ups 
so i can take more photos of bugs and things. 
Whether i get one or not remains to be seen.
