*enters and bows to master Gr'jar*

Appologise master i have only just received your instructions. You wished to see me?

It is time to begin your training padawan.

I'm sure the other two will make their way here.

You may not believe it, but having two fellow learners means that your training should be better in some regards.


*stands up*

First I must test your Force sensitivity...

*Force pushes button and two droid guns drop from ceiling and fire blasters at Ma'rol*

*Backflips and dodges first blast, blocking the second with a swipe from his sabre*

*runs towards first droid, blocking several blasts with his light sabre before slicing the droid clean in2*

*looks and nods with pupiless eyes*

*remains in middle while targets shaped like droids appear all around*

*activates lightsaber with beam shining gold/orange*

Knock these targets down without hitting me, or you and your saber touching the targets...

*the remaining droid concentrates fire in one line towards padawan*

*deactivates lightsaber*
But how master? how am i to defeat a target which i cannot touch?

Sometimes one can never get close to take down an opponent directly with a lightsaber...

*gives example by smacking blaster bolts to padawan with saber*

*dives to the side and smiles in realisation. Re-activates lightsaber and advances on droid. as the droid fire he nimbly blocks the shots, sending them into the targets one by one*

*nods*

*Same set of targets pop up but this time they move*

*moves slowly around room, blocking each blast from the droid. sees opportunity and sends several blasts towards targets, doing sum of the targets but not all*
There too fast master

No. Feel the force in you. Feel where you want to hit and you will hit it.

i will try master
*blocks several blasts, then spins sabre over his head, sendin a blast into the remaining target, narrowly missing master gr'jar*

*turns head to miss it*

Concentrate. Do or do not. There is no 'try'.

*target spins madly*

yes master

*raises sabre, then slices a blast towards the target, hiting it and sending it chrashing to the floor*

Last before I test your dueling skills...

*throughs the padawan a helmet which cannot be seen through*

*activates targets again*

*places helmet on head and starts movin slowly around the room again. narrowly avoids first blast, but gets hit by second on the hand. shakes hand in pain and blocks the third blast. Starts to feel the movement of the droid and the targets, using lightning speed to block each blast, before sending in2 each target, then repositioning himself for the next blast*

*tests out padawan by leaping forward and slicing down with saber*

*senses his master coming closer and, realising whats happening, half dives to the side, half blocks, barely managing to escape*

Am i to leave the helmet on master?
