This sounds useful and well worth trying on relatively quiet roads 
. I don't know how well it would work on a road with a lot of traffic.
In the section headed 'How it works' I don't think you need the 'and's
In the sentence beginning 'You must make allowances for road conditions especially slippery roads,' continue 'and make allowances'

Sounds interesting - I'll give it a go.
As for the actual article, you've got two bits saying "how it works" - the first one that's not highlighted could perhaps be altered to something like "This is what happens".
Also, the "moveing" in the footnote doesn't need the "e" (IE - Moving)
Other than that, an interesting article!

Only a small change, but it makes a big difference - making the "this is what happens" line a title brings it out much better!

There are two things about this piece which someone - me possibly- 
should have said before.
First, the sentence beginning "If the landscape is bland and confusing" is repeated.
Secondly, why isn't this piece in PR, since it's factual? If you put it in PR, someone might want it for the EG. If it sits around in the AWW it may just be forgotten, as the AWW looks for things like literary merit.
