Maybe we should post our own views on the Culture. Have you read any of John Varley? "Titan" Wizard" and "Demon" are very good. Similarly strong imagination to IB.

Ah. Well, he's talking about the non science fiction books. I thought thw Wasp Factory was clever but disturbing, and I enjoyed the Crow Road. Didn't think much of the TV series though. I can't read Feersum Endjin, and find Against a Dark Background heavy going. Loved Excession. I think the Affront are wonderful. Wouldn't want to live there...

Right, go to your home page (click "my home") and you can do it from there. Attitude Adjuster, I believe.
