Work is doing my nut.
There are times when as a TU rep you feel you are raging against the machine and this is one I am tearing my hair out and I am soooo pissed off. The b*stards.

Go out and get off your head or go for a good long run something that will atlest clear your mind for a few hours.
Im always amazed by how the same things *look* or feel diferent after a little stress break, I think you're as capable as the next person of making a good fist of what's on your mind but the build up of tension can be debilitaing. Take a short break get it off your mind for a bit then have another go.

Good advice. The end of the Autumn term is always a stressful time for a teacher but this year it seems worse. I could do with a big cry. Which I think I'll do after school today.
Then off Christmas shopping for a party frock and pressies.

Past experience compels me to agree with you re. bosses' roles in life!
Blicky and Alex are spot on with the time-out advice, which is something I am taking to heart myself.
Uni semester finishes today and I fully intend to take a break before tackling the 3 assessed essays I have to do over the Christmas break; I think I would explode if I don't, and I hate clearing up mess...
Hope today doesn't wind you up too much but, just in case, here's a 
for later.

Feeling a lot better now. But about to go into a *big* appeal with the head honcho at 13:00 so I will probably be stressed again after work.
It is of ocurse rather the nature of the role as a TU rep that one gets stressed out, and normally I quite like a bit of stress to keep me on edge but last night it was a bit much.
