Yawn. It's been a very long night. I presently work permanent nights, starting at 10pm and finishing at 8am. Sometimes it can feel like 20 hours, not 10!
But, not for much longer! Come July my team will be back on days, as our company has decided to cut the night shift altogether. I'm not too happy about it, as I really enjoy working nights - I'm really NOT a day person at all! And there's the small consideration of the money being somewhat less - but of course that has nothing to do with it
I've whiled away some of the quiet time tonight answering questions on a trivia website I found. But the novelty has worn off now, and I'm sitting here having just had my lunch, and cursing the chocolate vending machine which stole £1 from me (not unusual) swiftly followed by the drinks machine which grabbed my 15p and then dispensed me a cup of hot water (very common event!) - should have been tea, but it was the weakest tea I've ever seen, with no milk either!
Oh well; back to work. catch you soon
