h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

As of the last article submitted to I think many of my postings that would have usually shown up here will be occurring there.

Oh I do like to play tourist in my home county too so if anyone would like me to take a wander round and come up with something. Do give us a shout. Whether it's the famous you wish to know more about attached to a house or anything about famous authors such as Lewis Carroll. Please feel free to challenge me.

I briefly worked in Headington (for Cap'n Bob Maxwell), but I only drove past the shark once or twice.

Do you fancy writing it? I'd be happy to help out with research if you needed it. We have some great entries on US sculptures (Giant Jesus: A16859226 Big Duck: A19617500 etc), so I think a shark entry would go down really well - particularly if you can add some of your local knowledge.

If you're up for a collaborative entry, I can sketch an outline structure and see what you think. I really think it's crying out for an unusual style. It's not enough to say it's there; many readers would want to know what on earth possessed the sculptor to do it.
