it was a basic admin job for a catering company

I've got my hopes pinned on another dream job though........waiting games can be a pain when you aren't busy.

Waiting can really be hard

definitely but finding jobs and applying to them has soaked up some of my time as has going shopping with mum and having the odd driving lesson...my computer classes have been halted due to understaffing but hopefully friday i will do and pass my spreadsheet test

So quite productive really , and some formal computer training is certainly good when trying to get an admin job

I guess you could say that ... but it doesn't feel that way. Hopefully you are right about the computing but I think I'm doing them more because they are free, offer qualifications, keep me busy and can be fun. I would love to meet people through the course but so far I've met nobody. Not sure whether I can do it if I get a 9-5 job.

Maybe you could join a club that's more to do with your general interests to meet people?

I think I may try helping out in the local community on saturdays. sundays no bus service but would volunteer sundays too if it were possible.

Well see how you go with volunteering on Saturdays I guess

i realise now that saturdays may well be out of the question too due to driving lessons having to be arranged to that day and she doesn't work sundays

Maybe you could volunteer sundays instead of saturdays?

would do if there was any way of me getting into town biking it is far too long

no buses run on sundays around here

Odd, we have reduced bus links on a Sunday but there's still a service. Maybe you could use the time to practice for your theory test instead? . I really must get round to looking at what the new test involves..

They really aren't giving you enough to do then? Being bored at work is one of those very annoying things. When the computers broke down at my last job we had to pretend to be working even though we could do nothing . How can you pretend to work when there's no power and no paper work to do?
