h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'd like to tell you the following (which didn't fit the MOT theme, but is still worth mentioning):

Here's what else has happened on hootoo in the past few weeks, even though it doesn't stand out as much as the MOT debate. The <./>Photographers</.> are back on track after a hiatus due to changes in the administrating team, and plans are afoot to bring them back into focus. The Scouts have got some 'fresh blood' with lanzababy joining the group and Icy North returning after a prolonged absence, as well as Dr Zen (aka Z) having re-applied and been accepted, but apparently Z hasn't actually joined yet. <./>Community Artist</.> The Menthol Penguin (or Pingu, as I call him) had his first blob published on the Blue Screen of Death A14611547 entry. As he doesn't have a scanner, he drew it with the mouse. I think it's amazing, I can't even draw a straight line with the mouse, let alone such a colourful Blob. I think he may currently be the youngest volunteer on h2g2, having only recently returned after he had fallen foul of the under 16 ban F77636?thread=5901859 last year. Congratulations, Pingu, well done!

I'll post it here in my journal because I think that those who read my RR are all subscribed to my journals anyway.

That penguin is certainly the most enthusiastic CA to sign up in quite a while, and he responds to constructive criticism well. It's almost like he's interested in making lots of pictures and making them better!
