I was just reminded how I lost about 60 kilos 10 years ago (no, I didn't weigh 60 kilos more than today....)

I was without internet for most of the afternoon.

That's worse than anything else.

there was a time I thought so as well.
Nowadays my computer sometimes cries, because I am not on....

Well, I do get amny other things done when I'm cut off the internet.

that's why I am not on too often (plus the fact that I need a new chair, this one I am sitting on has become uncomfortable.....)

There was no chance of having a peek today, though.

I wonder where the rest of my message went I wrote more than that!!

Oh, but I bet we all know how it would have gone on: the 'little' peek takes you hours. You get drawn in, time flies by, and there's the day gone.

Never seen a "Crazy Cactus" over here, but if I do, I now know to stay away.
No problem finding real Mexican food around here. Within a mile or two of my house there's a business district where the signs range from half Spanish to no English at all. More a problem of which one to pick.

... and most of the chains around here have a "no meat" section to the menu. They should be ready with at least one main dish of that sort, just as general policy.

As for the badly behaved companion, may I suggest a 20th anniversary present from him to you?
He enrolls in a short etiquette course and then takes you on a proper date to someplace you like. Maybe you could write "Dear Abby" or your local equivalent and see if the columnist will suggest something of the sort?
