Makes me wonder which country they think they're living in.
Maybe I should go to the opening party and check whether the staff does speak any English.
And I wonder who printed this: look at the spaces between words - it's not me who set them so randomly.

Looks like they're trying to be European!
Why speak just ein language when you can sprechen a combination!!

It's pretty ridiculous in an area like this, which is more like a village. Not even our Irish pub does the ads in English.

Be honest, what would you think if a bar or a nightclub opened in your town/village having the whole ad in French?

The Power of Babel contains a German McDonald's ad with stacks of English in it. I showed it to some German visitors and they found it hillarious.

It only gives details about the book as such, TRiG.
Do you have the quote?

I've run out of coffee... having to fall back on my emergency reserve of cappuccino...
So I'm off to Asda as soon as I've picked the kids up from school...
Which reminds me... should be going soon...

I don't know, I don't really like this development. Why do people think something is cool/better when it's written in English?
