Hi Claudia, I've been trying for some time to get to grips with 'My Space' and to try to get some sort of compliance with the requests to update it. I have tried to use the 'Help' but find that it (the help) talks about buttons which simply aren't on my page... Very difficult, for example, to click on 'Add new entry' when the only link says 'Create new Enrty', which I take to mean, create a new heading for a new section...

Well, as you haven't created any entry yet, I should guess that it's the 'create new entry' button you have to press. Which skin are you with ? Alabaster for instance is quite different from Brunel, if you're with Alabaster I could change my skin and have a look where which buttons are and how they're called, would probably make things easier.

Hi Popa, forget what I said in my former post. The button you need says : Edit page, and you have to change to GuideML if you want to add pictures and such. To give you an idea of what you need, open a second window ( I take it, you're on a windows PC), so you can look at both windows, then choose a PS you like, and put the URL as follows : bbc ...etc, and then testuserpage instead of the U you usually put, so if you wanted to see my PS in guide ml, you'd put <./>testuserpage230913</.>
or just click on the link above
I'll be gone now, see you tomorrow

Thanx Claudia, that's a great help... it certainly sorted out the missing buttons. I'm going to see if I can find how to change to 'Alabaster' permanantly.

Got there! I kept changing to Alabaster, logging out of my browser, logging back on, clicking the Bookmark for HooToo and finding myself back in Brunel ! Well I would, the address in the bookmark has (had) /brunel/ as part of the address...
So, thank you Claudia, I might find time to do something with my page now...

Hi George, glad if I could help. Do you really prefer Alabaster to Brunel ? It looks more frindly and brighter, but isn't as comfortable as Brunel - I've become very lazy since I'm with Brunel

Hi, I may go back to brunel, but all the buttons in alabaster correspond to the 'Help' text.
You were quick with Beaches, I was sorting out a question to post after I posted Vertigo, when you pipped me to the post (so to speak) so I had to work out Beaches before I could post my Movie, and there you were in front of me.

- I'll leave the field to you now, because
a) I'll need some time to solve your movie and
b) I'm really tired and will go to now.
Goodnight George, speak soon

Hello popa, sorry I missed you today -and I have no idea about the movie
I've seen you found some more composers - none of them are known to me
Hope to see you soon

Hi Claudia,
I was amazed how many composers I could think of, I have far more that aren't in Icy's list than are ! The last one I submitted though I found by surfing.

Same with me, there are quite a few composers that are on my list but not in the quiz, but I guess it's for the usual reasons- the four letter-ones are too easy to spot, and the others just don't fit into the diseases. Can't wait to see what the next challenge will be
Puzzle 3
Popa_Mintin Posted Mar 3, 2005
Have you had time to take another look at 'Puzzle 3' ? Eagle Eye's had a couple of attempts but hasn't got there yet. It takes a surprising amount of typing to set down the method.

Hello George,
I have had another look at puzzle#3 the result is this :
I have even had a look at the new Eagle Eye challenge, unfortunately, I don't even know a single word
If I find the time, I'll perhaps stare at it a bit, hoping some word will jump at me
There's another new game, the lipograms - difficult cause I don't know many proverbs, idioms etc. - but that doesn't keep me from trying

I've had a look at your solution, and I actually understood it- because you put it in words, not in letters

Smiles...
You won't like my answer to Icy's puzzle then, I had to revert to his method of answering.

Good afternoon George, I've just seen that you set a new anagram, caught myself mumbling :'Plans'
Really, I'm glad nobody can see and hear me when I try to solve a puzzle
How are you ?
Sorry, my internet connection was cut for a while, so it's a few minutes that I wrote this

Hi Claudia, it looks as though I logged off just before you posted
I'm fine thank you, I trust you are well ? I don't believe you'll have too much of a problem with that anagram, it's not as obscure as some I've seen. I've also posted a couple more 'Puzzles' which you may like to have a quick look at when words become a bit of a blank.
