Hi, certainly am! You've reminded me to book my rail tickets. We can do it for the day - don't need to stay over.
How are you? - you are the first I've caught up with since returning.

Where did you go?
I'm fine, just having a headache today - must be the weather, I guess. It's brilliant sunshine and relatively warm and has been like this for a while, but maybe the atmospheric pressure has changed, or we're about to go back to cold and rain.
Good Morning

Sorry about the head ache - the weather seems to do funny things as it changes, particularly arthritis and rheumatism.
We are warm and overcast, but it won't be long before the rain is back.
We went to the Isle of Wight for our holiday - very 'adventureous'. Two weeks in a very quiet caravan, very relaxing. Mind you we will make up for it next year when my youngest daughter is getting married and is planning on Thailand.

A friend of mine (Icy) recently went to the isle of Wight for a weekend and told me about the old trains (former London tubes) they have there.
Thailand, eh? Must be interesting.

They do - we didn't go on them as they just go a short way. There is a Tourist Steam Train as well.

We do, but it is feeling more cramped all the time. Just down the road -under 2Km they are building about 2,000 new dwellings on top of the ones that have gone up in town proper. It is getting claustrophobic.

There's always a downside to some things. Where I live, there used to be lawns only 16 or 17 years ago - until they started building houses. The problem is, people have to live somewhere.

We have the big garden problem as well. Developers are buying properties with a 'large' plot and demolishing perfectly good houses then putting up high density 'homes'. Some areas have been totally transformed and the people who lived there - gone along with the stability. It is called progress.

Yes, we have the same problems here. I don't think there's much we can do about it. Sometimes, citizens prrotest, but don't succeed very often.
