This is great for people with a sore throat or even if you haven't. Just your favourite tea, but no milk, add some fresh lemon juice and honey to taste. Smooth.

Lovely drink. Here on the Continent lemon is much more popular as an 'additive' to tea than milk. In fact, whenever I put some milk in my tea, people nearby look at me as if they're wondering whether it would be appropriate to drag me to the nearest mental institution.

Of course being English I came to Lemon Tea late. In fact I was in hospital. I've never looked back since. I know the Chinese drink their tea without milk but I'm not sure about India. It would be interesting to know where the milk in tea originated.
