Millions of sights on line but all very corny. Any advice? I don't do jokes! I can never remember the punchline!

Don't get concerned over funny jokes as a Father of the Bride speech should moving or nostalgic rather than all-out humour.

-welcome everybody, thank them for attending, with particular emphasis on those who have travelled a great distance to be there.
-praise the Groom's family welcome them into to your family.
-tell a quaint/short story from your daughters childhood. (this can be humorous, loving or indeed both)
-mention how proud you are as a father and heap praise upon your wife/partner in bringing up your daughter.
-finish with a nice toast. (With pride and with much love let us raise a toast to Jack and Jill, to the Bride and Groom, may they live long, laugh often and love always)
