There is one butcher in town who always has a *massive* platter of tripe in the window. I'm fairly adventurous about what I cook, but I've never been able to bring myself to try it. I've eaten all sorts of offal, so it's not the thought of what it is that puts me off. It's its appearance. It just doesn't look like food!
