The Masked Ermine

How are you, Marian? Haven't talked to you in a while; I suppose you've been busy or couldn't get on the computer.

So what have you been up to? I've been doing some writing stuff but it's rather corney and unfunny.....

Hope to talk to you soon,

Simon....

Hello Simon! Is that an official alias now? It's a good one. smiley - smiley

What have I been up to? Hmm... schoolwork, fretting cause I can't get on the computer enough... That's about it really! smiley - smiley Not terribly interesting. What've you been doing, apart from that thing about you and that horrid nemesis of yours.

Which was very good, by the way! Really, it was awfully well-done, that scene where you got killed... smiley - cry It was very sad. smiley - sadface I loved it. smiley - smiley

The thing to remember is that unfunny is not at all the same as corny... smiley - smiley Have you ever written a Doctor Who story? I think you ought, you'd do a good job on it I'm pretty sure. smiley - smiley

I think I'd better get back to trying to make something worthwhile up in my head now. That's how I spend most of my free time nowadays, but almost none of it's really good for anything. smiley - cross

See you, Simon. smiley - smiley

The Masked Ermine

I figured I should use the alias that I was given, by the by, you are very creative I loved To Kill a Rocking Chair.

I've tried to write Who stories I can't find my Doctorish ness, I can't seem to settle on the character, I do villains so much better, I love villains, especially good ones, not to say the Dark Avenger's a good villain, he's a bit cliched right now, but I hope I can do something, with him..... I hope you do well in your homework, I'd help you but, it's abit far to shout. smiley - smiley

It was sad when I got killed?

I got killed?

Hmm, strange I feel ok, alittle blue, but I'm not dead yet, even though this body is wearing abit thin.....

It was emotionally corny, especially "Now What?" I had to right it because of Simon's err, Super Bufanda's statement in Nooooooooo! part two... so I don't know it felt odd, I usually don't borrow that far emotionally, it'll be hard to bring them back into the silliness ring, though....

I'll talk to you later.

Simon

Glad you liked To Kill a Rocking-Chair; but Steven thought up most of the good bits. He introduced the first Glazier and all that. I was just there to fill in the bits between Steven's posts so he didn't get stuck with all the work and could have a break once in a while. smiley - smiley

Oh, yes, it's hard when you can't quite get a handle on a character. Oh, well, pick a Doctor and watch tons of him, read some novelisations, and then see what happens. smiley - smiley It'll come.

I think the Dark Avenger is TERRRIBLE! Ooh, I've been reading the story you're writing with PM Ford (which is amazingly disturbing) and he's a very, very well-done villain! I'm so mad at him! smiley - grr Are you going to finish that story, Simon? Because I think it's great. smiley - smiley

It was sad when you got killed... it made a difference though when you got unkilled again a bit later. smiley - smiley But that scene was really good. You did the emotional stuff just right: there wasn't too much of it, only just enough, and it had a very good tone to it. Not a bit overdone or anything like that. Well, that's my opinion. smiley - smiley The problem, as you say, would be getting them back into silliness.

Thanks for the offer to help me with my work smiley - smiley, but you're right, it is a little far to shout. smiley - smiley I'll be all right, I guess.

See you soon, Simon.

Marian
