Well, here I am, replying to you on a very old post... I was sure I'd answered it weeks ago, but it seems I was wrong. Oh well, better late that never, eh? That's my motto!

I really have to catch up looking around this place. Don't think I've been to your page lately (but then, I haven't been to mine lately either!), so I'll have to go take a look.

About this Rani part of mine though: I don't know if you're planning to have the Master pop up in this Lifeboat story. But here's an idea: I could be a normal passenger, and then turn out to be evil later on. Now, I don't know if that means I'm evil at the beginning, or if I get taken over in the course of the story, or what. (I rather fandy the first.)

It may be my story idea but I'm sure you're all going to contribute in the start of Dr Who Beyond: The alternate series working side by side with the Lord Mike Saga.

As for a villainess, I had an idea of you being in disguise at the beginning and slwly, very slowly you start to become a menace until you're right at the core of it, as for the Master, no we only need one villain and of course the monsters.

If only this were a webcast?

Yes, I was thinking I would be in disguise too at the start. I could act like a more or less spoiled, rich, hysterical girl passenger who goes around blaming evryone for all the problems and generally getting on everyone else's nerves.

Hm, name... How about Sierra Queensland? Give her a modern-sounding alias, I think. If you've got any better ideas, though, I'd like to hear them. And I may come up with something better.

Should we make this a new regeneration of the Rani? With dark brown hair and startlingly green eyes? That way, the Doctor would be less likely to recognise her, especially if she acts annoying enough in every emergency, and he's kept very busy by all the monster attacks.

So, we're going to write this like a Lord Mike story then. Pretty good idea, that. I was wondering what you planned for the format. I'm not sure how well it'll work with so many people posting if they don't know where it's going to end up (for instance, if they don't know the girl I am is really a villainess), but I guess that'll sort itself out.

It is a jolly good idea, Richard. Lots of fun. It would be so great as a webcast...

Sierra Queensland, an interesting choice. Yes I think it will be a new incarnation of the Rani, though I'll end as the Narrator saying things like:

While the Doctor organised search parties in Ms Queenland's room things were hotting up...

I sort of saw this as a round-robin that would be reminiscent of our old days on the Boards and the monsters, I promise you shall be scary, if nothing else 'mildly frightening' so no one gets bad dreams!
