The plethora of postings (note the alliteration) this week are being caused by complete and total lack of homework and my skipping every extracurricular this week. And, oh, what a wonderful time I've had. Excepting the trip to the dentist I had today. Apparently, I have my father's gums, which are receding, and I will have to have my wisdom teeth excised this summer. I wish I had a larger mouth to accomodate them, but they're directly underneath my molars. Surgery...surgery...as long as they don't use laughing gas to put me under; I had to go to the hospital last time they tried that.

Anyway, I'm confused. Every time I remove an entry from my space, it doesn't renew if someone replies to it later. When I find it being talked on, and reply, it magically reappears in my space. How does this work and what purpose does it serve? Why can't it just appear in my 'conversations' list?

I am going insane, just so y'all know. I've had to move my orchids into my bedroom because my grandmother is staying with us until her house is finished (no longer than a week, I pray) and Sherman has already knocked three out of their pots...*twitchtwitch* breaking a developing spike. Even better, we have a bitch in season in the bitch room and my grandmother's psycho dog in a temporary pen outside my window. Oh, and there are construction workers wandering around outside my room and preventing me from running, swimming, and LIVING. Sherman is panting and crying about Kamilla and barking and howling because of this creature outside my window. I have put him in down stays, and he whines. Cry, cry, cry, try to stand on mommy's lap while sitting in a rolly chair. Watch mommy slide and flop out of chair. AAAGH! Why did I decide to take my week of NOW? Even better, a multi-smiley - bleep crow feather has been found outside my room.

On the brighter side (I didn't just say that), I made a FIVE on my AP test. Highest grade in the class. I made two 8/9s and a 5/9 (the essay was AWFUL) on the essays and a 75/100 on the multiplicative guess. I made the highest grade and am in the class. My corner of the room, made up of slackers Joe, Jake, Idis, and I, who are always getting harassed about talking and not doing our work and not making an effort, made the highest grades. Was that a coherent sentence? She was PISSED because we did so well. Grand, grand, grand. Maybe I'll do as well on the national, but I don't care because it doesn't affect my grade.

darakat - Now with pockets!

I have no idea what a AP test is but congrats on the result. As for dogs well there dogs theres soon pretty much nothing that affects them much. Ada was outside last night in the -3*C cold, which is about the coldest its been and she was fine (even woke me up like a good little girl). She was sleeping in the dust today and now is all dusty asleep in beanbag, for some reason I find myself talking to her, words she can't possibly understand, weird.

I think everyone talks to their animals. I do and I'm sure it's terribly unhealthy, but it's nice for both you and your pet. Sherman gets worried if I don't talk to him about nonsense when I get home. How do I know this? He told me.

Did you ever draw that flying pig, darakat? Or have I just been buzzing off too shortly when talking to you?

Thanks, and tomorrow's the national exam. *sags* I don't wanna.

As far as I know you can not remove an entry, they only hide if you check the button.
The conversation lists keep the most recent ones on top, any posting to a thread directly pushes it up.
Even if they where unsubscribed but only when you subscribed to the forum later.
If you post to a thread you also receive the updates as new posts.

Well I started writing this post right after you dropped the journal. However due to continueing server quakes and massive postings it took more then a day to complete the content."

Well, I guess that says it all. They never go away, but I never hit 'unsuscribe' so they should pop up again on my conversations list...but they didn't. Thank you for replying because it confrused meo. I am still confused, but you succeeded in unconfrusing some part of my brain. Maybe it's the 'server quakes' or maybe it's just Stacy being Stacy?

"Well, I mus admit, your journals are confusing me too in topping the list lately. Just relax about it, and do not forget to read enough nationals for your exam tomorrow.
< <./>MP228615?show=100&skip=0</.> > will give some more stability.

By the way look what I have found < A2594027 >, actually SEF found it smiley - erm"

Ha, I refuse to revise for that stupid test. The way I see it is, if I review, then I'll be able to be proud of my score. If I know I'll do alright if I don't study, why should I? I don't do a damned thing to earn my grades, and I don't feel like expending any unnecessary energy on it. It's two o'clock in the morning and I do think that sounded a bit snippish; I'm sorry ahead of time.

Ach! What did it do? I hit that and the journals aren't always up there.

What's that mean? Have you drawn one before and forgotten about it? smiley - biggrin

"No I have not drawn this one, it was in the Image data base all the time. Probably nobody remembered it when your entry was edited.

You have no idea how many images have been saved twice, three or even six times. It is just like they have no memory at all.

Ok, off to smiley - zzz"

The server is AWFUL! Yesterday...this morning, it rendered my user page like I had just signed in! It scared the beejeebies out of me and everything was just...gone. What's happening?

The nationals were...hysterical. I'll write an entry about it. The day has been very...interesting and not in a good way.

"This is what they call the server is uunder attack, I think.
Most problems just indicate the Web servers are too busy.

The Problem you discribe about nothing on your home page suggests the database server was not responding at all. (do you have measured the period for which this happened? < F94020?thread=418287 &gtsmiley - winkeye
