Officially down with the evil bug(s) prowling my school. Today our Youth Leadership was scheduled a meet. We were to go to the hospital and DEFACS and all of those lovely places. When we first go to the hospital, the tour guide asked me if I was stoned. NO, I wasn't, thanks for your concern. So we poked around and went into the operating room. The lady was lecturing and something posessed me to leave the room. Less than fifteen seconds later, I felt like I was about to pass out. KATHUNK! Thar she blows! I was only out of it for a split second so we walked around a little more. I went home, obviously and spent about two hours hallucinating on the couch. I have a negative temperature and feel like absolute crap. Three more days that I can miss from school...

Wow, last night was a ride I'll never forget. The medication that I took yesterday morning was CoricidinHBP. It is a supposedly 'safe' medication for those who are sensitive to many other drugs. Teenagers overdose on it to get high, but a single dosage almost killed me. My mother happened to come across an article about this in People magazine last night and rushed me to the hospital. Scary stuff.

Norway has a nice way of testing medications... They don't allow them into the country until some other country has been using it for years and the effect can be measured...

this medication is an ancient medication. my mother used it when she was little. apparently, my reaction to it was a one in a million kinda deal.

What happend was this. In the dark reaches of what we shall call her body, her immune system descided that the mediication was a vicsious virious bent on destroying her body. It thus produced thousands apon thousands of T - cells and white blood cells to combat it. This reduced her energy levels. Then it attacked the medicine and the virus at the same time, eventully winning, but not without making her come out with a hot fever, aches, pains and eveything else that one normally gets whenones immune cells outnumber most over cells 5 times over. Then all her surplues immune cells died due to lack of anything else to do, and thus she got better.
How do I know this? I watch WAY to many documentries.

I saw something about this on a childrens programme when I was about five... An "into the body" cartoon, if I remember correctly... ahh, the joys.
