My real journal and its gems
Tacysa Started conversation Jan 4, 2004
Ah, yes, my fabulous written journal. As of last night, I have covered six hundred and sixty-six pages with my lovely script. Interesting number to stop on, eh? Well, rereading it, I found this quote. It doesn't have an author next to it like it should so I don't know who wrote it.
"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer: let him step to the music he hears."
I like it.

I was wondering about the lack of rants. Have you burned out or are you holding yourself back?
Me toos.

Lack of rants is cuased by lack of anger at anything in particular, but I will gain some from somewhere, the world can't go on for much longer without some major event actuly been taken notice of. Either that or I rant about something new and exiting, like shoes.

i hate shoes. they are evil and symbolize the constriction of society's demands on humanity. its bad when shoes make you a person and you arent respected for anything else. surely you can go off on that.

Even better...Clogs represent the conservative, the old-fashioned, and the ignorant...

and even worse...the insufferably preppy! aaaaah. they also fall off at the worst times. walking up and down stairs is dangerous in them.

the underwear or the shoe? we call them flip-flops here, but they are even more dangerous than clogs. they symbolize the 'swingers' type life and loose living. you can slip and fall on wet surfaces due to the lack of tread on the bottoms, too.

At least clogs can be used for self-defence. Ever thought of what happens if you sling your foot up into the air really fast? The clog flies off, and if someone gets hit... They'de better get to the hospital double quick.
I use flip-flops sometimes, they're dead handy when walking from the house to the garage (where my computer is). You don't slip up unless you're stupid enough to go running in them on slippery wet surfaces...

You only hate your life because shoes are ruining the world.
*cough* You trying to imply something here? Walking barefoot is much safer.

Still, clogs can be fun... in the right circumstances...
Yet another subtle insult, and I'm up by eleven points... You don't walk barefoot in four inches of snow...
