This evening I finished writing the quiz for the meet. I enjoy writing quizzes anyway, not that I get much chance, but the quizzes I've written for h2g2 meets are always fun to write, and I think it's because it's such a varied, funny and unique place.
I'm not going to say what the rounds are, because then people can get some sneaky research in. But there is a round based on Douglas' work, a picture round where our blind researchers stand as much chance as anyone else, and of course the obligatory general knowledge. Although I'm not sure general is the right word. It was for the last quiz, it was about generals in the first world war, or was it the second.
But the knowledge on h2g2 isn't general, it may cover a wide range of subjects, but there's a lot of specifics in there.
So, if you're coming to the meet, and you want to be sure of winning the quiz, all you have to do is read everything by Douglas Adams, and everything on here. Oh, and you've got a week and a half to do it.
Other than the quiz, there's also a name badge competition which I can actually enter seeing as I'm not running that. Not sure who is, but hey. So this evening I was also able to spend a bit of time making my badge.

What about making the name badge competition just everyone writes down the name of the researcher with the badge they liked best on a piece of paper and then we count?
