Our new washing machine arrived yesterday and was promptly and efficiently installed. I was a little sad to see the old one go as it has served us faithfully for 10 years but it needed a new drum which would cost almost as much as a new machine which wasn't worth doing after 10 years of use. Am excited by our new machine though. It's so quiet!
Today I've spent most of the time at a choral workshop with Robert Hollingworth, director of I Fagiolini. We learned new choral techniques and had fun as well as doing quite a bit of work on a variety of pieces. Robert was a mine of information about the works of 15th and 16th century composers. I'm glad that I went.
