I was wondering what 'Rose' (6) was doing behind the computer. There was an image of a person on the screen, clicking on the body parts it gave the name in writing and audible. More surprisingly was 'Rose' was actually writing the words down on a scrap of paper. She obviously took me serious saying she first has to learn to read and write before she can have her own account in the Guide.
Well, be warned in this pace she will be here soon, even sooner then I had imagined.

"Just old enough to know the mouse cable is not to be eaten. Well, ok he is four, but still tries to eat everything.
It is probaly not really a matter of brilliance, more some kind of stubborness. Not unlike me I am afraid.
We are enjoying every minute with them. I still remember 'Rose' hours old, discovering her little world with her big blue eyes. Or how about 'Waterrat' making it some kind of daily home commig ritual for me, as he climbs up to my shoulders to touch the ceiling with his hair."

I'm almost seventeen and still try to eat everything...
Mischeviousness, maybe?
Likes heights then. My da threw me in a game and hit my head on the ceiling, once. My mother quickly ended that, however. You've only got two now? Are you planning for hundreds more yet?

"As if they will be less fun when they are older.
'Rose' already managed to call 'Emergency' < F124705?thread=394741 > we will need all our hands to keep them in line.
You know what? They will have to compete with their parents in their behaviour, we will not easy be surprised. (I hope this at least) "

What a good girl! Locked in the closet, eh? I never called that, because the police showed up when my brother did. I don't know how my parents ever dealt with some of my early stunts (or how they still do), but I fear ever having a desire to procreate. My children would be holy terrors!
My father said the same thing...

Cat-Eyes: No..... why.... ? Posted May 4, 2004
Wow, I've never called 000... I'm been at Intergraph who used to take the calls, and I've had 2 ambulances, one of which resulted in a ride to the hospital, and I've done first aid training and stuff, but I've never actually called it.

"Actually there was nothing great about the emergency call. We learned her how to call it just in case. She previously already called some numbers shown on television that was not good either.
The only thing really good in the story is she confessed what she had done."

That's good. DId you end up with like the cops out at your plce or anything to investigate her brother being in a cupboard?

Traveller in Time in the cupboard
"No, apparently she was not convincing enough. Or they got suspicious after three calls. Anyway the operator called back, embarressing my mother."

Tacysa Posted May 4, 2004
Mischevious little runt, isn't she? I know it's bad, but I can't help but laugh. What numbers did she call off of the TV? Numbers that charge $15 a minute type thing?

"She is just trying to find the borders. And a fact is she will be able to read this one day. (Hi 'Rose')
She tried to call some quizzy numbers, you know the kind you never win without ordering for some useless gadgets. But we have a private telephone exchange (actually two) so she did not get outside at all.
Fun, this afternoon she was reading a book to her brother. "

Tacysa Posted May 4, 2004
She probably already knows how to read it.
Well, at least that saved you from having a bazillion COD packages arrive at your door.
I hope they'll stay that friendly to each other. There's nothing worse than a passle of bickerin' younguns.

"They are most times sweet for eachother, give one a candy and they will share. However if they get tired then take cover or read them a book to distract."
