"About the 'Hootoo Image Converter' smiley - erm Hic smiley - biggrin

First thing that happened after I thought of starting to create the little program was a computer crash, that is: my main machines dropped about ten centimeters. no real damage to the machines at first sight. However the Win95 machine refuses to boot up properly since then, the Win98 machine was never very healthy and is refusing more and more. The other Win98 machine (with Delphi installed) needs to be tidied up, it keeps complaining that 1MB free disk space on each partition is not enough.

I managed to install XWindows on one of the debian boxes so I have a usefull graphical interface. The other Debian box I use for logging, and lynxing over HooToo. The Macs, weLl I use them for testing with Mac browsers, they both have their limitations.

Anyway I am more busy trying to get all systems up and relative stable running then writing the program. I wrote a webcam interface some years ago and I think that will be a quick way to get Hic running, The Webcam interface already has automated jpeg compression, it is merely removing parts then completely writing from scratch smiley - smiley.
