Hi there! This is an interesting entry. My first suggestion would be that you might consider changing the title a bit so that it's clear that you're talking about a video game -- at first I thought you were actually talking about this -- A545447.

Great! Here are a few other suggestions:

Have you looked into learning and using GuideML? That's the formatting language you can use on guide entries that allows you to insert links, add headers, and other such fancy things. You don't have to use GuideML to get an entry into the Edited Guide here in Peer Review, but I've found that it does give that "sprucing up" to your entry that entices more people to stop by and comment.

Plus, if you were using GuideML, it would be a lot easier to insert some links. Personally, I'm a big fan of links in entries, and I think an entry like this would really benefit from links to places like the game developer company, or maybe if there is a really good walkthrough site for the game, or something like that.

You can learn more about using GuideML here if you're interested: <./>GuideML-Clinic</.>

Another thing I'd be interested in seeing in the entry is some indication of the difficulty level, and what it is that makes the game difficult. For example, I tend to be good at the puzzle-solving bits of games, but I am awful at the bits that require speedy manual dexterity. And some games wear me down simply because they require such tedious persistence in order to get anywhere. If I have any idea what I'm getting into with a game, I might be more likely to give it a try.

Also, what are the graphics like? Are they bright and cartoonish? Are they of the realistic variety? Dark and surreal?

Keep up the good work!

Good summary of the game. One point however - I'm sure i've played it on the PC at some point. It may be that you are only writing about the PS2 version, but it may be helpful to note the PC format too.

Good work amigo!smiley - winkeye

Well, I tried to recommend this entry, but the powers that be decided that it was close, but not ready just quite yet. Here are some of their suggestions:

The information that you list at the beginning:

Title: Project Eden
Developer: Eidos
Publisher: Eidos
Date Published: 2001
Platforms: Playstation 2, PC
ESRB Rating: Teen

could be worked into the text in the first paragraph, rather than being presented as a list.

There's also several things you can do to make this entry a little closer to "Edited Guide" style -- for example, using British rather than American spelling throughout, using ' instead of ", things like that. There's an entry here - A266131 - that gives more information on exactly what the editors want in terms of style, punctuation, etc.

As far as the British/American spellings, here is the way I go about it in my entries (since I'm American and tend not to know which words the British folk spell differently). I copy the entry into Microsoft Word. Under the tools menu, I go to Language, and change the language setting to "English (UK)" rather than "English (US)". Then I run the spell-checker, and it picks up pretty much all the words that should be spelled differently, and tells me how to fix them.

This one is pretty close, though, so don't give up now!

I think there's probably enough in this for it to be a Flea Market candidate. Computer game entries aren't really my thing though.

Anyway, consider a move seconded.

Well, I'll second a flea market move if you think that's where it should go.
