A.S.J. Tessimond - the unsung genius...?

The first poem I ever liked and still one of the few...
The Man in the Bowler Hat - A. S. J. Tessimond
I am the unnoticed, the unnoticable man
The man who sat on your right in the morning train
The man you looked through like a windowpane
The man who was the colour of the carriage, the colour of the mounting
Morning pipe smoke.
I am the man too busy with a living to live,
Too hurried and worried to see and smell and touch
The man who is patient too long and obeys too much
And wishes too softly and seldom.
I am the man they call the nation's backbone,
Who am boneless - playable castgut, pliable clay
The Man they label Little lest one day
I dare to grow.
I am the rails on which the moment passes,
The megaphone for many words and voices
I am the graph diagram,
Composite face.
I am the led, the easily-fed,
The tool, the not-quite-fool,
The would-be-safe-and-sound,
The uncomplaining, bound,
The dust fine-ground,
Stone-for-a-statue waveworn pebble-round

Well I think I hardly qualify for that description It is what I try to avoid most, that's why I like the poem a lot...

Let's refer to it as 'The Forum' from now on...
Oh well, I am somewhat active in social life and I see this kind of thing happening about once a month...
Can't beat experience...

When you are with me, I, who am all too sane, am a little mad.
Through you I see colours where yesterday were
grey, black, white and tomorrow perhaps grey,
black, white will be again.
Your eyes reflect impossible towns, trees, flowers,
inconcievable lights and faces.
Your voice holds incredible echoes of unlikely words.
Your time has no days, hours, minutes;
And all things are possible; And stars, like snow, may fall in one's hand.
Guess who!!!

'Music'
This shape without space,
This pattern without stuff,
This stream without dimension
Surrounds us, flows through us,
But leaves no mark.
This message without meaning,
These tears without eyes
This laughter without lips
Speaks to us but does not
Disclose its clue.
Only 12 hours

God bless you both. You are the new Adam and Eve. You will dwell in paradise for all eternity. You bask in it's wonders. Sweet music will reach your ears, sweet scents will fill your noses. All is perfect.Ali

Hey Alicat,
Why don't you use Altavista or another search-engine and search for +'Tessimond' +'Cats'.
It is the only poem by Tessimond on the web....disgraceful of course...but you might very well like this one as it is about ....... (hehehe).
