My mate Dave celebrated his 42nd Birthday by going to Paris to see Bruce Springsteen (50 in September !!) and when he returned home he spotted a large advert for 'Now That's What I call music 42' !!!.An entirely appropriate present I thought.
However, he still doesn't know the answer to Life.... the Universe or anything..... Oh well.

Hi there!
It would seem we have a mutual friend, Mr Dave Percival, 42.
I am pleased to announce that I too shall be attaining the mystic age on the 31th of May 2000, at which time I hope to discover for myself the answer to Life, The Universe And Everything.
Then again, as Marvin memorably said:
'Life...don't talk to me about life.'

Well my father has just passed the mistycal 42 number, without ever learning about life the univers or how to cook more than beens on toast. However he did enjoy Now 42
