Clairybell, Queen of Lancashire Started conversation Apr 20, 2003
I've noticed that all of Joanne Harris' books run along several themes (filial relationships, fear/love of displacement, 'finding' oneself), and there are also a great many literary techniques that she uses. I wonder if other Guide users could give me examples of other things they've noticed about her work, as this is something which very much interests me.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
