I have a heart shaped pebble, more prcious than a stone,
You do not sparkle like a gem, but you're one i'm glad to own.

What stories you could tell me, if only you could speak,
What raging tempests made you so, so smooth and yet so sleek.

So rare a thing of beauty, i held you in my hand,
Wiped a tear from my eye, and dusted off the sand.

I put you in my pocket, and brought you home with me,
Now you have a place, right here instead of the sea.

Reminds me of Blackness, I found a pebble and stuck a bit of string through it and wore it...till the string broke...pebbles are nice

Can you please tell me why it reminds you of darkness.
I'm glad that you likes it, i wrote that when i was only 10 years old.
And that was a long time ago, gosh i'm showing my age here lol >biggrin>
I know i am going to repeat myself here but i do appoligise again.
I have a necklace with pebbles aswell as seashells on, when i was on holiday.
And do you know where i was, well im going to tell you anyway.
The Isle Of Skye, i thought it was a beautiful place, even though i was only 10 years of age.
I have been to Glasgow aswell as Dunoon and Edinburgh.
I have relatives in those parts of Scotland.
Anyway thanx again for letting me keep my job lol
