Hi. I'm new and was wonderin' what people's fave things were of Blackadder. I love the insults. They are so witty and just come pouring out of his mouth like he has one stored for every occasion (no matter how remote!) I think my fave is in the fourth series (major star) "Bob you are a girl. And you're a girl with as much talent for disguise as a giraffe in dark glasses trying to get into a polar-bears-only golf club."

I think my favourite aspects of Blackadder are the 'cunning plans' and probably the Goblin song from series two. If they don't light your candle then Baldrick's very moving war poetry from series 4 will leave you....probably confused. Poigniant stuff.

i have to agree with you there %100 as they are the best aspects of blackadder but i really want to hear the end of the goblin song but its not to be found and are there any sound clips of the war poems as "The German Guns" WAS BRILLIANT so brilliant that i shall now recite it to you all

but as regards to the insults the insult of baldriks poems the best
"It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better - but apart from that it was excellant"

and the famous threat from the same time

"not with a bayonet through your neck you couldent"

The insults are the best bit!
I like what Blackadder said about Baldrick when he and Kate were gonna get married.
Kate: 'Baldrick you look as sweet as little pie'
Blackadder: 'Kate, he looks like what he is, a dungball in a dress'
