Saturday night, I left to start work and all was well, (as well as things ever are anyway
). Sunday morning, I return and it seems very quiet? - ARRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!! The computer is dead.
The power supply expired sometime during the night!
So, new PSU, fitted it and fired up - everything seems to be working
, even posted a message saying so for information to friends who knew what had happened, then noticed monitor settings not quite right, so changed them. Do you want to restart computer now? Why not! 
Wednesday afternoon, finally get back on-line after re-installing Windows again and still not exactly sure what the 
went wrong!!!
I HATE MICRO$**T!!!!

I just grabbed the blurb from an online test site 
so I guess it's open to interpretation. Like how the early ranges seem to overlap and allow for an average genius.

Had to re-install Windoze AGAIN!! Repeated crashes after downloading from official Windows Update site - I HATE MICRO$**T!!!!!!!!

Would you believe that I'm now suspecting the copy of 98 SE that I used to re-install?
I keep meaning to put another installation of 98 over it, as I don't have any sound at the moment because it crashes if I try to install the sound card.
