It would appear they've started using other letters now as I saw mention of a "Giant & Firkin"

Come now, let's not be too curmudgeonly when confronted with innovation. At the very least it might expand our vocabulary: off Queensway, in London, there's a Fulmar and Firkin. The firkin chain isn't my favourite but its style is far superior to that of yer average large brewery's.

Well, I concede the point.
And you're right. No where else would I have encountered the word 'Factotum', but on the other hand I didn't feel my vacabularistic (?) horizons broaden gretly at the word 'flapper'.
